The mission of The Catskill Public Theater is to present FREE admission LIVE theater to audiences in and adjacent to Sullivan County, NY.
We will utilize our innovative Mobile Stage for 6-8 weeks per summer, and also rent that stage to other users, including not-for-profit Organizations, as a “Portable Public Assembly Platform.”
That rental income, along with other income and donations, will be used to subsidize the expense of presenting FREE admission theater.

The Catskill Public Theater is proud to announce that we will be setting up our Mobile Theater for our premiere season at The Roscoe Fireman’s Field. We are honored and inspired to form this alliance with our local Volunteer Fire Department, and excited to be presenting our first production at this venue. The play entitled “Terror” will open on July 9, 2024, with performances Tuesdays thru Thursdays, continuing until July 25, 2024.
